The Women@Work Program is designed to empower and support young women looking for work in an office or an administrative environment.
The program so far has supported over 30 young women with a three-week Job-Ready Program. Participants from the Greater Melbourne area, who are unemployed and between the ages of 17 and 24 gain specific skills training – establishing new routines, communication skills, presentation, goal setting and achieving these goals. The program is specifically designed working in collaboration with a number of philanthropic supporters such as Coca Cola Foundation and Commonwealth Bank.
Throughout the program participants work with employment partner, WPC Group to gain employment through a Traineeship in Business. Key to the success of the program is matching participants to a dedicated mentor to assist throughout the training and introduction to employment.
