Skilling Australia Foundation CEO and Co-Founder, Nicholas Wyman, has visited the Sarah E. Goode STEM Academy, located on the south side of Chicago. Launched in September 2012, the Sarah E. Goode STEM Academy was one of the first P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) style schools to be established in the US.
Automotive apprentice Billy Papadopoulos is the fast track to success. The 20 year old has been awarded the Evan Phillips Scholarship by the Rotary Club of Footscray and the Skilling Australia Foundation. The annual $2,500 scholarship provides assistance to a youth in Melbourne’s west who is undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship.
